Patti received her initial certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork from The Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC. She has been practicing since 2008 and was even voted “Best in Burke County” for her excellent skill. Patti takes continuing education courses each year, expanding her knowledge base, as a result of this continuing education she is also certified in Reflexology – a massage technique focusing on reflex/pressure points in the feet, hands and head to release tension and blockages throughout the body. Patti has also taken Oncology Massage courses and studied Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. With 96 CE credits in Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (MLT) she is able to offer MLT services now for an extra fee. Her most recent training is in the Chinese Medicine practice of Cupping so this will be an addition service coming soon.
Patti believes intention is a guiding force in all of her work and her goal is always to help clients improve their over-all health while providing relief for their immediate pain and muscle tension issues.
“I feel very fortunate to have found what I believe is my calling”, Patti says, “to help people through the power of touch, and support them on their journey towards better health and pain relief, in an effort to minimize the amount of medications they may need. If you have not tried massage, I assure you, it may just be the answer you are looking for.”
